The Philanthropy Project was the
lead sponsor for a Conference on "Teaching
Generosity in Philanthropy at Business Schools and
Organizations" held at Princeton University on July
10 to 12, 2008.
A number of the leading scholars teaching
philanthropy at business schools and otherwise in
the U.S. and abroad attended including Arthur
Brooks, Claire Gaudiani, Greg Dees, Jim O'Toole, Rob
John, and Curtis Meadows delivered papers. The goal
was to develop an "open-source" blueprint for action
in advancing the teaching of generosity in
philanthropy at business schools and other
organizations.
